Last updated 1 November 2026
This notice explains how JIDEONI LTD, trading as JideOni Care Consulting, collects and uses personal information when you visit our website, contact us or work with us, and the rights you have. We are the controller of that information under the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018.
1. Who we are
JIDEONI LTD, registered in England and Wales, company number 11924798. Registered office: 19 Alexandra Road, Lancing, West Sussex, BN15 8EJ.
For any question about your information, or to use any of your rights, contact us by email at admin@joccuk.com, by phone on 07450 985 293, or by post at the address above. We are not required to appoint a data protection officer, so please use these details.
2. The information we collect
Information you give us
- Enquiries: your name, email address, phone number, the organisation you work for and anything you tell us about your plans or your care service.
- Clients: the details we need to deliver the work, such as company details, contact details for your key people, your plans and documents, and billing information.
- People linked to a client's registration: to help prepare a registration or interview, we may receive details about the people who will lead a service, such as a proposed Registered Manager, Nominated Individual or Responsible Individual. This can include work history, qualifications and training.
Information we receive from others
If you are one of the people linked to a client's registration, we may receive your details from the client who engaged us, usually your employer or the company you are a director of. The categories of information are those described above.
Information collected when you use our website
Our hosting provider keeps standard server logs, such as IP address, browser type, the date and time of your visit and the pages requested. These are used to keep the website secure and working.
Our website does not use cookies, analytics or tracking. The tools on our website, such as the registration checker and readiness check, run entirely in your browser. Nothing you select in them is sent to us or stored. See our cookie policy.
3. Sensitive information
Registration work can sometimes involve more sensitive information about the people who will lead a service, such as health declarations or information from criminal record (DBS) checks. We only handle this kind of information where it is needed to support a registration, with the explicit consent of the person it is about. We keep it to a minimum, store it securely and delete it once it is no longer needed. You can withdraw your consent at any time.
We ask clients not to send us identifiable information about the people who use or will use their services, including children. Policies and documents we write for clients do not contain it.
4. How we use your information and our lawful basis
| What we do | Lawful basis |
|---|---|
| Reply to your enquiry and arrange a discovery call | Steps you ask us to take before entering into a contract, or our legitimate interests in responding to people who contact us |
| Deliver the services we have agreed with a client | Performance of a contract with the client, and our legitimate interests in delivering that work well |
| Use details of people linked to a client's registration to prepare applications and interviews | Our legitimate interests, and the client's, in preparing an accurate registration; explicit consent for any sensitive information |
| Send invoices and keep business and financial records | Legal obligation |
| Keep our website and systems secure | Our legitimate interests in protecting our systems and the people who use them |
| Deal with complaints and legal claims | Legal obligation and our legitimate interests |
Where we rely on legitimate interests, we have considered your interests and rights and believe they are not overridden. You can ask us for more detail about this.
We do not sell your information, we do not use it for marketing without your agreement, and we do not make decisions about you by automated means.
5. Do you have to give us your information?
No. But if you do not give us the information we ask for, we may not be able to reply to your enquiry or deliver the services you want.
6. Who we share it with
We only share information where it is needed, and only with:
- the companies that host our website and provide our email and IT systems
- professional advisers, such as our accountant, lawyers and insurers
- regulators, law enforcement or other authorities, where the law requires it
- other people or organisations, only if you ask us to
We do not submit information to CQC or Ofsted on a client's behalf unless the client asks us to. Any company that handles information for us must keep it secure and use it only on our instructions.
7. Information sent outside the UK
Some of our service providers may store or access information outside the UK. Where they do, we make sure it is protected, either because the country has been assessed as providing adequate protection, or by using approved contract terms such as the UK International Data Transfer Agreement or Addendum. You can ask us for more information about this.
8. How long we keep it
- Enquiries that do not lead to work: up to two years from our last contact, then deleted.
- Client records and correspondence: six years after our work together ends, to meet legal, tax and insurance requirements.
- Sensitive information about people linked to a registration: only as long as needed for that registration, then deleted.
- Website server logs: kept by our hosting provider for a short period for security purposes.
9. Keeping your information safe
We use secure, access-controlled systems, encrypted connections and strong passwords, and we limit access to people who need it for their work. If a personal data breach happens that is likely to put you at risk, we will tell you and, where required, the Information Commissioner's Office.
10. Your rights
You have the right to:
- ask for a copy of the information we hold about you
- have inaccurate information corrected
- have your information deleted in certain circumstances
- ask us to restrict how we use your information
- ask us to transfer information you gave us to another organisation, where this applies
- withdraw your consent at any time, where we rely on it. This will not affect anything we did before you withdrew it
Your right to object: you can object at any time to us using your information on the basis of legitimate interests. We will stop unless we have compelling grounds to continue.
To use any of these rights, contact us using the details in section 1. There is normally no charge. We will reply within one month, and will tell you if we need longer for a complex request.
11. How to complain
If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information, please complain to us first by email at admin@joccuk.com or by post. We will acknowledge your complaint within 30 days, look into it without undue delay, keep you updated and tell you the outcome.
You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office, the UK regulator for data protection:
