Domiciliary Care
Personal care delivered to people in their own homes. CQC registers the office you run the service from, so we make sure that location and your Statement of Purpose line up.
We prepare your Statement of Purpose, policies and applications, rehearse your interviews and stay with you until CQC makes its decision. You end up with a service that is ready to run, not just a registration certificate.
Planning a Children's Home or 16+ Supported Accommodation instead? That is Ofsted registration.
Each type of service raises different questions at registration. We start from what CQC will ask about yours.
Personal care delivered to people in their own homes. CQC registers the office you run the service from, so we make sure that location and your Statement of Purpose line up.
Personal care for people living in their own tenancies. CQC regulates the care, not the housing, so the separation between your landlord and care roles has to be clear from day one.
Accommodation together with personal care or nursing. The premises, staffing levels and the people you plan to support all shape what CQC will expect to see.
Whether an agency needs CQC registration depends on how it operates. We help you work out what applies before you spend time and money on an application.
CQC is deciding whether you can provide safe, effective, caring, responsive and well-led care from your first day. Your application has to answer four things convincingly.
Who you will support, what you will do for them, where and how. Every other document has to agree with it.
Your Registered Manager and Nominated Individual must be fit and proper, and able to show they understand the regulations and your service.
Policies and processes that show how you will keep people safe, respect their rights and run the service well.
An office or premises that is suitable for the service described in your application.
Six stages, agreed at the start and tracked with you throughout. Choose a stage to see who does what.

We confirm which regulated activities you need, check your plans for gaps and agree a fixed fee and timeline in writing.
Your part
Tell us about the people you want to support, where, and who will lead the service.
Our part
Confirm the regulated activities, spot gaps early and set out the plan and fee in writing.
Stage 2 of 6

Your part
Set up or confirm your company, office, insurance and banking.
Our part
Write your business and workforce plans and advise on recruiting your Registered Manager.
Stage 3 of 6
We write your Statement of Purpose and a full policy and procedure set around your service, then take you through each one.
Your part
Review the drafts and check they describe how you will really work.
Our part
Write the full set, tailored to your service type, and walk you through every policy.

You submit through your own CQC account. We complete each section with you so the answers match your documents exactly.

Still to sort before you apply
Wherever you are, a discovery call turns this list into a plan for your CQC registration.
Book a discovery callA fixed fee, agreed in writing before any work starts. CQC fees, DBS checks and other third-party costs are paid separately.
CQC alone decides whether to register you. No consultant can guarantee the outcome, and we will never claim to.
Still unsure what applies to you? Ask us directly.
No. Carrying on a regulated activity without CQC registration is an offence under section 10 of the Health and Social Care Act 2008. You can recruit, train and prepare, but care must not start until registration is granted.
For most services, yes. CQC expects a manager who will apply to become the Registered Manager. If you do not have one yet, we can help you define the role and prepare the person you appoint.
CQC may interview your proposed Registered Manager, and sometimes your Nominated Individual, to test their knowledge of the regulations, your service and your policies. Our mock interviews cover the same ground so nothing comes as a surprise.
CQC sets its own timescales and these vary. We give you current expectations at your discovery call and make sure your side of the process is never the reason for a delay.
No. We work from a tested structure, then write each policy around your service type, your location and the people you will support. Inspectors notice when a policy describes someone else's service.
Yes. CQC has been revising its assessment approach during 2026. We keep your documents and interview preparation aligned with the version in force when you apply.
Tell us what you are planning and we will tell you what it takes.
